2026 Fonda Park Concerts
Join us for a day of patriotism, recreation, and community as the 2026 Montgomery County Kayak-a-Thon comes to Fonda Park as part of the nationwide America 250 celebration.
Paddlers traveling the Mohawk River will launch in Canajoharie and travel approximately 13 miles downstream to Fonda Park, creating a colorful wave of red, white, and blue in honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary. Participants are encouraged to wear patriotic attire, decorate their kayaks or canoes, and help celebrate this historic milestone.
Along the route, paddlers will pass through Mohawk River Lock E13 and may choose to make a brief stop at the Mohawk Valley Welcome Center, where complimentary refreshments and visitor amenities will be available before continuing to Fonda.
Everyone is Invited!
You don’t have to be on the water to be part of the celebration. As paddlers arrive throughout the afternoon, Fonda Park will come alive with activities for the entire family.
