About Fonda Park

Fonda Park is located along the shores of the historic Erie Canal and Mohawk River and has long served as a gathering place for the Village of Fonda. Much of the land that makes up the park today was generously donated to the Village, helping create a public space for future generations to enjoy.

Over the years, the Village has continued to improve the park through grant funding, local labor and community support. These efforts have added new features, improved existing facilities and helped preserve the park as an important community resource.

Today, Fonda Park is a central part of our village. It is a place for concerts, community events, recreation and time spent along the river. The park welcomes residents and visitors of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Whether you are attending an event, enjoying the waterfront or simply spending time outdoors, everyone is welcome at Fonda Park.
