The Village of Fonda is revitalizing the recreational and canal-side park within the Village of Fonda. This work is made possible through grants from the New York State Canal Corporation and the New York State Department of State. In addition, private donations have made it possible for us to continue this work. We will create a page acknowledging all those contributing to this project as we receive the funding.

June 20, 2021 Update

We have been working on the following facilities with expected completion by July 5th 2021.

• Public Restroom
• Digital Sign Display
• Paved Parking Lot and Parking Attendant Booth
• Park Lighting
• Memorial Wall and Fountain – Dedicated to the Men & Women of Our Military, Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS
• Entertainment Pavillion – Stage for Music, Movies, and Other Performances
